ORDINANCE NO. 109 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HARTFORD, IOWA BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO FIREWORKS BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Hartford, Iowa: SECTION 1. Section 45.22 & 45.23 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Hartford, Iowa
- 45.22.02A. A person shall not use or explode consumer fireworks on days other than July 3rd and July 4th of each year, all dates inclusive.
- 45.22.02.B. A person shall not use or explode consumer fireworks at times other than between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.

Snow Ordinance
Effective November 1 the City of Hartford Snow Ordinance is in Effect. No parking is allowed on streets with snow and/or ice accumulations of 1” or more for 48 Hours after the event ends or has been removed from the streets. Dumping of snow in a street or alley is prohibited. We ask for your cooperation to allow city staff to efficiently remove the snow and ice. Parking fines and towing of vehicles may be applicable.
